Mark Fontecchio

I'm Mark Fontecchio, a news and site editor for TechTarget, an information technology media company in Needham, Mass. There I manage the site, a job that includes reporting, writing, editing, posting, assigning, budgeting, and tweeting, among other things. I report, write and edit stories and e-books, I record and edit podcasts and videos, and I interact with my audience through email, comments and social media. It keeps me pretty busy, and that's a good thing.

In the past I've written for and other TechTarget sites. Before coming to TechTarget, I was a reporter for The Patriot Ledger, an afternoon daily newspaper in Quincy, Mass. Before that I worked as a reporter and copy editor for other newspapers in the area.

On the side, I also coach gymnastics at Power in Motion and occasionally write for The Herald-Palladium, a local newspaper in southwest Michigan.

Here are some things I've done:

Data center humidity levels source of debate

Trends in MySQL high availability
